Rhoda Marlene Roy

Roy - Rhoda Marlene, 78, of Southwest Port Mouton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

 Born in Southwest Port Mouton, Rhoda was a daughter of the late Henry and Freda (Daury) Fisher.

 Rhoda was an avid bingo player and loved to dance and listen to Newfoundland and country music with her husband Frank.

 Rhoda is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

 Besides her parents, Rhoda was predeceased by her husband Frank, her sisters Beulah Huphman and Evelyn Huphman and her brothers Chester and Ray.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral home, Liverpool where a funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Burial will be in Southwest Port Mouton Community Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations may be made to the Queens General Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice.
