It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymond Frederick Fiske of Liverpool, on October 23, 2025 at South Shore Regional Hospital, surrounded by family and graced by heartfelt ballads from his beloved granddaughter, Autumn.

Born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, Raymond was a son of the late Fred and Ella Fiske.

Raymond served for over 30 years as Administrator at Hillsview Acres Home for Special Care, and dedicated eight years to public service as a Councillor with the Region of Queens Municipality. He was also a very proud and active member of Prince of Wales Zetland Lodge #9.

Raymond had a lasting impact on community members from all walks of life, demonstrating unwavering dedication to supporting the success of every individual’s journey.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Deborah (Taylor), their daughters Tammy (Jon) of Liverpool, Jennifer (Melvin) of Middlefield and his beloved Mary-Jo. He treasured his role as a grandfather and didn’t miss a sporting or musical event of Zachery, Jaelynn, Autumn and Jackson. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Alice, and all of his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Raymond is predeceased by his brothers Donald, Edgar and brother in infancy, David.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers Funeral Home, Liverpool, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a masonic service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29th at 2:00, from Greenfield United Baptist Church. Reverend Janet Baker officiating. Reception to follow the service and will be held in the auditorium. A private family interment will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Queens County Food Bank or the Friends of the Hank Snow Society. Online condolences may be made below.
