Perry Edward Johnson

It is with deep love and great sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of Perry Edward Johnson on March 27, 2026 at the young age of 60.

Born in Liverpool, Perry was son of the late Carl “Dad” and Nancy “Mummy” (Whynot) Johnson.

In his younger years, Perry was a meticulous roofer, working in the Halifax area, sometimes assisted by his partner Jacky. His favourite hobby was driving his Chevy truck which he named “Bessie”.

Perry leaves behind his loving soul mate of 26 years Jacky Morris, his son Jesse Johnson, his granddaughters Sadie and Rae Johnson, who loved Gramp very much, his sisters Betty Shupe and Joanne Whynot, and his brother Peter.

Besides his parents, Perry was predeceased by his sister Wendy and his brother Michael.

Perry, you may be gone from our sight but never gone from our hearts. It is so hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember. When someone you love so much becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.
