Weare, Patricia Ann, 71, of Shelburne, passed away peacefully in Roseway Hospital, Shelburne on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

           Born in Liverpool, Patricia was a daughter of the late James and Vivian (Mansfield) Croft and a stepdaughter of the late Murray Berry.

           Patricia worked for environmental services with Roseway Manor for a number of years. She enjoyed family get togethers, especially when it  involved a large meal. She loved Christmas. It was her special time of year where she would enjoy decorating and buying presents. She loved her family the most; spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 Patricia is survived by her husband of 55 years Millage; her daughter, Angela (Owen) Hartley of East Jordan; her sons, Mark (Cindy) of Bridgewater and Leigh (Leah) of Shelburne. Her grandchildren, Ashley (Josh) Hunter, MacKenzie (Kyle) Hubley, Holly Lewis (Patrick), Shelby (Brandon) Stewart, Allison Lewis (Jamie Nickerson), Jessica Lewis, Wade Lewis (Hope Snyder), Alicia Weare (Brett Dolliver) and Liam Weare (Jorga Wyman-Surette). Her great-grandchildren Nora Hunter, Tucker Hubley, Ashton Grant, Aleah, Arizona and Madalie Lewis. Her sisters, Joyce (Larry) McDow of New Ross and Debra (William) Kempton of Caledonia. Her brothers, James (Teresa) of Barrie, ON, Wayne (Charlene) of Waterloo, ON and John (Angela) of Caledonia.

 Besides her parents and stepfather, Patricia was predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth Wilson, Maxine Mansfield and her brothers, Richard and Burton.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Highland Cemetery, Hibernia Road, Caledonia. Reception to follow in the North Queens Fire Hall. No flowers by request, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Roseway Manor, Shelburne or to a charity of your choice.
