Milford Lorraine Nowe

Nowe – Milford Lorraine, age 94, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, with his loving family by his side.
Born in Westhaven, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Melbourne and Hilda (Weagle) Nowe.
Milford was truly one of a kind. Growing up, he learned firsthand that you get out of life what you put into it. He carried a strong work ethic in everything he did. Milford was a lifelong “Jack of all trades”, always busy fixing things or creating others. He will be especially remembered for his work as a skilled carpenter and a mason, known for his meticulous work. Milford enjoyed going for drives, dancing and listening to country music. Most of all Milford will be remembered for the love he had for his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was loved and will be deeply missed.
He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Shirley Nowe (Bryan) of White Point, Donna Nowe (Clarence) of Milton; sons, Jack (Jenny), Robert, both of Milton; grandchildren, Alan (Haley), Ivan (Linda), Kenny (Charlotte), Beverley (Ben), Timmy, John “Jack”, Paul (Amanda), Richie (Christine); 13 great grandchildren; daughter in law, Elizabeth Nowe; son in law, David Wamboldt; sisters, Alice Murphy of Charlottetown, Frances Whynot of Liverpool; brothers, Carl of Danesville, Vincent of Milton; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Jennie; sons, Carl in infancy and Richard; great granddaughter, Tasha Smith; sisters Hazel, Mildred and infant sister, Prinsetta; brothers, Frank, Harry, Leo and Charlie, daughter in law Alice Nowe
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 18th, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, September 19th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., from Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Family flowers only.
