Neal R. Rattiner

RATTINER - Neal R., 76, of Summerville Centre, NS, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, NS, on Friday, February 28, 2025.

Born in New York, Neal was a son of the late Herman “Hank” and Evelyn (Caplan) Rattiner.

Neal was an accomplished ornamental blacksmith by trade.

Neal is survived by his children Cherie (Sean) Chase, twins Victoria (Mike) Gagne and Travis (Maggie) Rattiner; grandchildren Danielle, Isabelle, Michelle, Jimmi, Elli, and Stephani; great-grandchildren Atlas, Nalu, Oliver, Charlotte and Violette; brother Jimmy.

Besides his parents, Neal was predeceased by his son Dustin and his beloved companion and best friend “Justice”.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. As per Neal’s request, there will be no service.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at Queens General Hospital.
