Beulah Roberta Mitton

MITTON – Beulah Roberta, 80, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on Thursday, December 3, 2020.
Born in Port Hawkesbury, Beulah was a daughter of the late Albert and Muriel (Murray) Warner.
Beulah was an elementary school teacher prior to her starting her own nursery school. She was a former member of the Brooklyn Baptist Church. Beulah loved animals and was an active volunteer for the S.P.CA. and SHAID. She also enjoyed camping and will be sadly missed by her Kedji friends.
Beulah is survived by her daughter Kelli (Paul) Gillis of Halifax; her sons Reid (Lib) and Kirk (Anne), both of Brooklyn. Her grandchildren Josh, Sarah, Jody, Noah and Marah Mitton. Her sisters Heather (Phonse) Ryan of Port Hood and Ferne Warner (Clarence MacKinnon) of Judique and her brother Murray (Shirley) of Port Hawkesbury as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Beulah was predeceased by her husband Jim.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Burial will be in Seaside Cemetery at a later date. No flowers, donations may be made to S.P.C.A , SHAID or the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com. All current COVID-19 practices are to be maintained. Please bring your own mask, hand sanitize often, practice social distancing whenever possible and provide the funeral staff with contact information upon arrival.
Beulah’s family wish to thank Dr. Garry Morash, the doctors and nurses of South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater and Margo, Betty and Darlene, Beulah’s home caregivers for their compassionate care of our mother.
