Mitchell "Mickey" W. Lowe

LOWE, Mitchell “Mickey” W., 64, of Liverpool, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at home.

Born in Liverpool, Mickey was a son of the late Edward and Helen (Anthony) Lowe.

Mickey was described as a fun loving person who loved to laugh and make others laugh as well. He loved to tinker and was always purchasing or finding items that others would consider trash. He would repair and restore these items to proper working condition, something that he was very proud of. Mickey loved a good western movie and will be dearly missed by his family and close friends.

Mickey is survived by his son, Ryan (Maria) of Newburne; grandchildren, Tristan, Ashton and Aaliyah. He is also survived by sisters, Donna Holborn of Liverpool, Sylvia Whynot of Milton and Rita (Roy) Oickle of Milton and brothers, Vincent (Lillian) of Milton and Vernon (Mary) of Sandy Cove.

Besides his parents Mickey is predeceased by his wife, Laura Lee (MacNutt) and brothers, Gordon, Barry and Clayton.

Cremation has taken place under the directions of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. As per Mickey’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers by request, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Kidney Foundation of Nova Scotia. Online condolences may be made below.
