It is with heavy hearts that the family of Miriam Dora Fisher, 88, of South West Port Mouton announce her passing on April 5, 2026 at Queens Manor, Liverpool.
Born in Port Mouton to Meredith and Ruth (Payzant) Wagner, Miriam was a dedicated wife and mother who was well known for her kindness and caring nature. She had a wonderful ability to make friends wherever she went.

Miriam had a great love of walking, especially along the beach in search of sea glass, always happy to stop and chat with anyone she met. Even after moving to Queens Manor, she continued her daily walks through the halls. She became well-loved by the staff and visitors alike, particularly her playful habit of giving a friendly pats on the butt as they walked by.
Miriam is survived by her children Gilbert Burgess of Greenfield, Peter (Rosemary) Burgess of Port Mouton), Alan (Anne Marie) Fisher of Port Mouton, Annette (Ricky) Roy of South West Port Mouton, Shauna (Ian) Corbett of Liverpool, Linda (Tracy) Vincent of Kingston, NS, and Lois (Barry) Bowers of South West Port Mouton. Her thirteen grandchildren Tina, Tanya, Melissa, Damon, Kayla, Hailey, Jaren, Justin, Jessica, Nolan, Chris, Dwayne and joel as well as her fifteen great grandchildren.
