Lynn Kimberlee Kempton-Lowe

d. Oct 25, 2026

The family of Lynn Kempton-Lowe is sad to announce her quiet passing at home on Oct 25, 2026. Lynn had been sick for some time, but her passing was quite sudden and we are saddened that her time on Earth wasn’t longer. Although we grieve our loss, we rejoice in the knowledge that Lynn would celebrate now being with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She is also with her beloved husband, Larry who passed away in 2021. Lynn was born in Liverpool, NS, the daughter of Ralph Kempton and Shirley (Mills) Kempton. She grew up in Milton, Queens County along with her brothers, Jeff, Steve, and Mike. She also spent some years in Ellershouse, Hants Co. with her “second family”, the Curries. She had many friends in both locations. Lynn and Larry moved often in their early years together and left their mark in New Brunswick, Dartmouth, and Mom’s favourite, the Annapolis Valley before settling back in Milton, again living in her family home. Lynn is survived by her three children: Crystal (Nicholas) Lowe-Pearce in Halifax, NS; Jonathan (Leone) Lowe in Meteghan, NS; David (Olena) Lowe in Liverpool, NS; and her four precious grandchildren: Alicia, Marcel, Jasmine, and Nathan. Lynn is also survived by her three brothers, Jeff, Steve, and Mike as well as a number of sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family. Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Shirley Kempton, her treasured grandmother, Roberta Kempton, as well as still-born baby “Bobby”. Lynn spent most of her life as a stay-at-home mom for her children. She was also proud of her small Watkins Business. Affectionately referred to as “The Watkins Lady”, if you asked her, there wasn’t much a liniment or balm wouldn’t fix and certainly nothing could beat the Watkins vanilla or cinnamon spice when baking. Lynn’s faith was an important part of her life and she spent many years dedicating her service to supporting missions, volunteering, and showing care for others through her church homes. Her volunteering extended further, and she was always quick to lend a hand, play her music, or do something special to bring joy to others. She developed many friendships over the years. Lynn had a passion for animals, especially horses, dogs, and many a stray bird. At home in her latter years, Lynn enjoyed doing simple things, such as reading, sitting outside enjoying the fall colours, and spending time with her cherished dog, Sipu who passed away a very short time before she did. Lynn’s family would like to thank her family physician, Dr. Gary Ernest who Lynn trusted with her health care for many years. She valued their relationship and spoke of his caring nature often. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Service, Liverpool. A private family burial and Celebration of Life will happen at a later date. Donations may be made in Lynn’s name to the Victoria Order of Nursing (VON), the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice. “May her memory be a blessing”
