Emma Mildred Levy

Levy, Emma Mildred, of Mersey Point, Queens County, passed away on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.

                      Born in Vogler’s Cove, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Elliott and Sedella (Conrad) Mason.

Emma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting and sewing.

She is survived by her husband Harvey; daughters Judy (Arnold) Roy, Janet (Maynard) Mansfield, Barbara (David) Oickle, all of Mersey Point; sons George (Doris), Gordie (Audrey), Carl (Margie), all of Mersey Point, Warren (Sharon), of Brampton, Ontario, Norman (Faye), of Brooklyn, Queens County; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sisters Ruth MacMillan, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Mary (Maurice) Whynot, of Port Medway, Linda Mason, of Vogler’s Cove.

She was predeceased by a sister, Eva Smith.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 13th, from 2-4 p.m. and a Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 14th, at 2:00 p.m., both from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating. Burial will be in the Zion United Church Cemetery, College Street, Liverpool. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
