Leonard Carver

CARVER, Leonard W., 83, of Kingston, NS has passed away peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton on Friday, September 4, 2026.

Born in Walden, Leonard was the son of the late Stephen and Matilda (Nauss) Carver.

Leonard enjoyed working with wood, from creating crafts for friends and family to building decks and storage sheds. He also enjoyed nature and planting flowers and vegetables in his garden. Although he enjoyed his independence, he also loved to spend time with family and friends telling stories, having a good laugh, listening to country music, singing and dancing. He would often go for long drives to explore places and roads he had never been down.

Leonard is survived by his loving sister Esther Legge, Liverpool, son Jeffrey (Carol) Carver, Lunenburg and daughters Lisa Carver, Indian Point, Linda (Mike) Orman, Bridgewater, his five grand children Cory, Katelynn, Candace, Shane, Matthew, his seven great-grandchildren Tommy, Maylee, Sophia, Ella, Davick, Olivia, Noah, and by his loving friends and their fur babies Janet Reeves (Cuddles) and Barbara Galligan (BG- Baby Girl), and many nieces and nephews.

Leonard was predeceased by brothers Arthemus, George, Wallace, Arnold, Paul and by sisters Mary, Beulah, Beatrice, Lois, Elva, Blanche, Laura, Myrtle.

Leonard's friends and family are invited to join his family for interment and celebration of life at a later date that will be announced via Facebook for details.
