Muriel Edith Leneten

LENETEN – Muriel E., 93, of Mill Village, Queens County, passed away peacefully in North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia on Thursday, May 30, 2019.
Born in Blue Rocks, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Stafford and Elmore (Greek) Romkey.
Muriel was a former housekeeper at Queens Manor, Liverpool. She enjoyed socializing and bingo and will be remembered as a hard worker who loved children.
She is survived by her sons Manfred (Jane) of Mill Village, Martin (Heather) of Liverpool, Charles of White Point, Bruce (Lisa) of Sandy Cove and Jimmy ( Judy) of Bridgewater. 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Horace, her sister Margaret Knickle and an infant sister.
Visitation and funeral service will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 beginning at 10:00 a.m. with service at 11:00 a.m. all in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reverend Peter Anthony officiating.
