It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Lawson E. Parker, who departed this life at the age of 83 in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Born in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Lawson moved to Sudbury, Ontario, as a young boy. He was the beloved son of Ernest Parker and Carolyn Gustavson (née Pentland)- predeceased. Brother to Nora Olive and Rupurt Parker both predeaceased
Lawson dedicated many years to a career in trucking, a profession that suited his adventurous spirit . Known for his infectious laughter and ability to light up any room, he was truly the life of the party. His love for country music and skill at the pool table were well-known among his friends and family. Summers found him at Sand Bay in Northern Ontario, where he cherished camping and fishing trips that created lasting memories.
He is survived by his stepfather, Charles Gustavson; his children, Lori St. Jean (Ernie) and Michael Wisniewski; his grandchildren, Jory, Kelsey, Cody, and Shaeleigh; and his great-grandchildren all of Sudbury Ontario. Lawson's legacy of joy, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral home, Liverpool, NS. A celebration of Lawson's life will be held at a later date in Ontario.
