Lauren R. Hatt

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lauren R. Hatt, 60, of East Port Medway, NS on December 6, 2025.

Born in Liverpool, Lauren was a son of the late Amos and Harriett (Hupman) Hatt.

Lauren is survived by his loving spouse of 36 years Darlene Mooney, brother Mark Hatt, many nieces and nephews, and best friend Murray Hatt, as well as his dog Penny and many close friends he made over his lifetime.

Besides his parents, Lauren was predeceased by his sister Wendy Flemming

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made below.
