Karen Rose Roy

Roy - Karen R., 62, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, NS

Born in Liverpool, Karen was a daughter of the late Earl and Hazel (Allison) Fisher.

Karen was a former employee of C.W. MacLeod’s Fisheries. She was a housekeeper for Sidanna Retreats in Hunts Point. Karen loved to go camping and four wheeling at Fiver Rivers. She loved her grandchildren and her fur babies “Snoopy”, “Lincoln”, “Cadillac” and “Demon”.

Karen is survived by her husband of 38 years, Lance; her daughters Rhonda Roy (Warren Roswell) of Bridgewater, Kimberley Roy of Mill Village, Elizabeth Roy (Greg Fisher) of Liverpool; her son Graham of Liverpool; her grandchildren Nicholas, Mya, Riley and Sophia. Her brothers Brian (Lenora) of Port Mouton; Robin (Rosylyn Colp), Earl (Melanie Conrad) and Donaldson (Felicia), all of Southwest Port Mouton.

Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by her son Robin; her sister Brenda McKinnon and her brothers Eddie and Marty.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at a later date. No flowers, donations to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made below.
