Jeanette Susan Whynot

Whynot - Jeanette S., 78, of Milton, Queens County, passed away suddenly in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Born in Liverpool, Jeanette was a daughter of the late Ernest and Josephine (Roy) Wamboldt.

Jeanette attended NSCC Shelburne campus and graduated from the Culinary Arts program. She then worked for Queens General Hospital as a cook in the kitchen for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed doing little things around the house and property such as gardening, painting and housekeeping.

Jeanette is survived by her husband of 60 years, Irving; her sons Scott and Dwayne, both of Milton.

Besides her parents, Jeanette was predeceased by her sisters Joyce Hatt and Elizabeth “Betty” Everett.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. Reverend Judy Cross officiating.
