Jacqueline Ann Flint, age 81, of Milton (formerly Hunts Point), Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Bromsgrove, United Kingdom, Jackie was the beloved daughter of Jack and Lil Brough. From an early age, she showed the adventurous, pioneering spirit that would define her life.
In the late 1960s, Jackie lived in Montreal and Puerto Rico before immigrating to Canada permanently in 1975. A lifelong lover of travel, she continued to explore the world for many years.
Well known on Nova Scotia’s South Shore, Jackie was an accomplished businesswoman and respected real estate broker. Later in life, she spent nearly 30 years living in Florida before returning home to her cherished Queens County.
Jackie is survived by her children, Mark Flint and his wife Anne, and Claire Grudinskas (Flint) and her husband Ben; and by her four adored grandchildren, John William, Emily, Andrew, and Alex.
Her family will forever cherish the grit, grace, humor, and strength Jackie shared so generously throughout her life. She leaves behind a legacy of independence, resilience, and love.
A private celebration of life will be held by her family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jackie’s memory to Parkinson Canada at donate.parkinson.ca
