White, Jack L., 87, of Western Head, Queens County, passed away peacefully at Queens Manor, Liverpool on Monday, August 4, 2025.

Born in Western Head, he was a son of the late Guy Jr. and Lilly (Jollimore) White.

Jack left school at the age of sixteen to work at L.H. Veinot’s Shoe Store where he worked for seven years. He then sold Fuller Brush for a year and then went to work for Cyril Page’s garage selling cars and worked as a sub-dealer for Mahone Auto Service in 1958. Jack next went to Brooklyn where he owned White’s Irving Station until his health forced him to retire in 1991.

Jack and Charlotte RV’d for forty-five years with family and friends touring the Maritimes and Newfoundland. They also spent a number of winters in Florida, one in Arizona and plus had a memorable trip to PEI accompanied by four teenage grandchildren (three girls & a boy) - just ask them!

Jack is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Charlotte (nee Levy); daughter, Mary Beth and son, Tim; grandchildren, Joel, Pam, Stefanie and Shanna and great-grandchildren, Lilly, Evelyn, Jase, Isabella, Amelia, Xavier, Darrick and Adaline.

Jack was the last surviving member of his immediate family having been predeceased by brother, Maurice; sisters Joan Croft, Florence Robar and Marion Whynot.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., followed by a reception. Pastor Noah Lohnes officiating assisted by Reverend Dr. Harry Gardner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Liverpool Baptist Church or the Queens County Food Bank.
