Elizabeth Louise “Betty Lou” Huskins

Huskins – Elizabeth L. “Betty Lou”, 82, of Liverpool, passed away suddenly in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
Born in Liverpool, Betty Lou was a daughter of the late Basil and Hazel (Smith) Cooke.
Betty Lou was a hairdresser for many years. She was a member of the Kinsmen and Kinettes Club and lifetime member of the Queens Quilters. Betty Lou enjoyed gardening, was an avid hockey mom and grandmother and loved animals especially cats, dogs and horses. Her happy place was being at the lake.
Betty Lou is survived by her daughter Heidi of Liverpool, her sons Kerwin (Kim) of Brooklyn and Devin (Melody Whynot) of Hunts Point. Her grandchildren Griffen Weagle (Emma Fisher), Garrett Weagle and Greyden Weagle; Karleigh Huskins, Kiefer Huskins and Josey Huskins.
Besides her parents, Betty Lou was predeceased by her husband Archie, her sister Marion Toombs and her brothers Lloyd and Carl Cooke.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral home, Liverpool. At Betty Lou’s request, a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. No flowers. Donations to your charity of choice. Online condolences may be made below.
