Gregory Maurice Oickle

Oickle - Gregory M., 63, of Western Shore, NS, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, on Thursday, June 20, 2024 with his wife, Joanna, by his side.

 Born in Cornwall, NS, Greg was the son of the late Maurice and Betty Oickle.

 Greg was a mechanic by trade and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Freeman’s Lumber in Greenfield. He also did long haul trucking, worked for the Department of Transportation and Wal-Mart in Bridgewater. Greg was very well known and well liked. He had a heart of gold and, if you were in need, he would give you the shirt off his back. 

 Surviving are his wife Joanna (Karlsen), his son Mark, his german shepherd, Buddy and his best friend, Josh Rafuse.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool,
