     Norman, George Donald, 82, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away at home on April 16th, 2024.

           Born in Liverpool, George was a son of the late Lloyd and Nellie (Vaughan) Norman.

           George was an enforcement officer for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. He enjoyed working on his antique cars, loved his cats and also liked playing solitaire on his computer, often spending several hours a day. George missed his wife and spoke of her every day.

 George is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Eddie )Lavoie of Sylvan Lake, AB, Rhonda Norman of Liverpool and Susanne (Mike) Sanchez of Los Angeles, CA, His grandchildren, Thomas (Heather) Lavoie, Ethan Lavoie (Alice Wilson), Sarah Henderson (Zachary Roy), Ryan Henderson and Sabastian Sanchez. Great-grandchildren, Jackson and Cohen Lavoie, Bentley Swindell and Penelope Roy and his sister Dorothy Peach of Mill Village.

 Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia and his sister, Janice Aulenback.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool, Reverend Judy Cross officiating followed by a reception. No flowers.
