We are saddened to announce the passing of Gary Gerald Peverelle on September 14th, 2025 at Queens General Hospital with family by his side.

Gary was born in Vancouver, British Columbia., a son of the late Gerald and Lena (Gatto) Peverelle.

At the age of 18, Dad joined the Armed Forces Navy Division and was stationed in Halifax, NS. Here he met his wife, Arthena “Tina” and built their home in Lower Sackville. Dad left the navy after 12 years as he didn’t want to be away from his family.

Dad was a member of Liverpool Kinsmen and K40 clubs where he held numerous positions. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as Grand Poobah. Dad was also very active with QCMHA in the early years as a coach and then on the Board for a few years. Dad also loved to watch his grandchildren play hockey. Dad loved his family very much. He was the King in the kitchen, loved to laugh and sip on a glass of red wine with dinner. Dad is now at peace and reunited with his family and mom.
