Frank Maxwell Gardner

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Maxwell Gardner. Frank passed away on August 24th, 2026 at Queens Manor, Liverpool surrounded by so much love.

Born in Liverpool to Sidney and Ruth Gardner, Frank touched the lives of many people in his 68 years. Everyone who met him loved him, and he loved them deeply.

Frank made many memories during his time at Queens Manor, from his artwork with Velda to playing crib with our adopted family, Barry and Connie and Trish and Jimmy. His final days were spent with love, fun and smiles.

Frank suffered from kidney failure and was a dialysis patient at Queens General Hospital. During his time there he found many friends in all the wonderful nurses who oversaw his care, as well as a wonderful human being who showed Dad so much love, his friend, Lauren. Frank loved her company and she will always hold a special place in his heart.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Peggy; his daughter, Tammy; son-in-law, Gene and his pride and joys, his grandsons, Logan and Caelan. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Blake (Ashley), Larry (Sheila) and Bub; sister-in-law, Audrey and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special friends who he considered family, Margie, Ellen, Marion, Ardie, Keith, Robert and Kathleen.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his mother and father-in-law, Deanie and Walter Lowe; sisters, Heather, Brenda and Peggy, in infancy; brothers, Doug, Richard, David and George; sisters-in-law, Judy and Muriel; brothers-in-law, Frank and Gordie and his nephew, Mark.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. His cremated remains will be held until the passing of his wife, Peggy so that they made be laid to rest together just as they did everything else in life.

Donations in Frank’s name may be made to the Queens General Hospital Dialysis Unit or Queens Manor. Both places took such excellent care of him and showed much love and compassion.

The family would like to thank both units for the care and comfort provided, as well the family and friends who were there with Dad in his final days.
