Rosalie Elaine (Penney) Fralic

Rosalie Elaine (Penney) Fralic, passed away peacefully on January 28th, 2024 at Ridgewood Assisted Living Home, Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.
Born in Brooklyn, Queens County, Mom was the youngest of 4 children born to Joseph and Leah (Meisner) Penney.
Mom kept herself busy with volunteer work for her church, Queens Manor, and delivering meals on wheels. She worked for Canada Post for a while helping Alethia Keating deliver the mail which she enjoyed. She also loved to travel, and she did that in abundance with friends and later years with Ed. Some of the places she visited were England, Australia and Fuji, Mexico, Italy, Arizona, Florida, and the Dominican, as well as cruises around the southern tip of South America. I’m pretty sure she has dipped her toes in the Pacific Ocean in B.C. and the Atlantic Ocean off Newfoundland.
Rosalie is survived by her partner of 20 years, Edward Reinhardt, son Donald (Donna) Fralic, Beach Meadows, daughter Katrina (William) Sarty, Conquerall Mills, grandchildren Adam Sarty, Justin Sarty, Logan Nixon, Cassandra Fralic, Brandon Fralic, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Rosalie was predeceased by her husband, Percy Fralic, her grandson Jason Sarty, her parents and her siblings Bernard, Raymond, Julia (Baker).
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Service will be held at St. Andrews Anglican Church, Brooklyn Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at 11:00am. No flowers by request of the family. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.
A big thank you goes out to Ridgewood Assisted Living Home staff and the VON for the good care they gave to Mom.
