It is with profound sadness the family of the late Ethel Mae Heasman, 94, of Port Mouton, Queens County, passed away at home on Friday, May 23rd, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Port Mouton, Ethel was a daughter of the late Ralph and Mabel (Wagner) Fraser.
Ethel lived an extraordinary life beginning in her early years working at the Morris candy factory. She later worked for Kim Wong’s restaurant and, in her spare time, sold Avon. Ethel enjoyed doing crafts, loved dancing with her friend Shirley Burgess, and also in her younger years could find her working in her flower garden. She loved putting up her bird feeders and her humming bird feeders so she could watch the birds and feeding her fox Charlie. Ethel had a very special place in her heart for her cat Mittens and her budgie birds.
