Elizabeth H. Nowe

                Nowe - Elizabeth H. “Liz”, 74, of Milton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool.

                Born in  Caracas, Venezuela, Liz was a daughter of the late Jan and Jawitja (Bonarek) Slaz.

                Liz was an engineering clerk for Bowater Mersey Paper Company for thirty two years. She was an avid Frenchy’s shopper, a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses, Liverpool and loved to spend time with her family. She was vey fond of her dog Teddy and her cat Pixie.

 Liz is survived by her sons Richard (Christine) of  Beach Meadows and Paul (Amanda) of Mersey Point. Her grandchildren Jenna Nowe (Chris Keans), Jessica Nowe, Kody Young, Colten and Hailey Nowe and a great granddaughter. Her sisters Helen (John) Guitar of Milton, Tani Slaz of Calgary, AB, Krystyna Caplazi of Egypt. Her brother Fred  (Linda) of Hamilton, ON.

 Besides her parents, Liz was predeceased by her husband Richard, her sister Mary Skelton.

 Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ funeral home, Liverpool, NS. A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Milton Community Cemetery, Milford Street, Milton followed by a reception in Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. No flowers.
