Edward R. Whynot

WHYNOT - Edward R., 84, of Liverpool passed away peacefully October 11, 2025 in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool with his wife Marilyn and siblings by his side.

A life long resident of Liverpool, Edward was a son of the late Wallace and Barbara (Whynot) Whynot.

Edward loved all sports and carpentry.

Edward is survived by his wife Marilyn and his children Scott (Tammy), Rhonda (Jimmy) and Edward Jr., grandchildren Lucas, Alexandria, Tanner and Jasmyn; great grandchildren Noah and Hazel; sisters Wanda, Coreen (Greg) and Shelly (Michael); brothers Orean, Kirk (Donna) and Faron (Jackie).

Besides his parents, Edward was predeceased by his brother Hartford, sister-in-law Carol and brother-in-law Larry Thorbourne.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS.

Donations will be greatly excepted in Edwards memory to the Liverpool Baptist Church.
