David Arthur Donald

David Arthur Donald, 79, of Mahone Bay, died December 2, 2025 at Ryan Hall in Bridgewater, NS with his loving wife by his side.

He proudly served for this country first with the RCMP, and both in regular and reserve force with the military.

David loved all animals and most especially dogs and he enjoyed his time training German Shepards for service in Europe.

His early years were spent in Halifax, with his career moving to Ottawa for many years, but returned home to Nova Scotia upon retirement and settled in Mahone Bay. He was active in the federal retiree’s organization as well as the Meadows Condo Board.

David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jodi and his sister Dee Barrett of Bedford as well as nieces and nephew and maternal cousins.

David gave his last salute.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. At David’s request there will be no service. A private family memorial will be held later. Online condolences may be made below.
