Beaton - Daniel Joseph “Danny”

           It is with much sadness and heartache that my son Danny, 44, was killed instantly in an ATV accident on October 20, 2023.

           Danny was born in Cape Breton and raised in Liverpool. He was a very special son. Growing up, he enjoyed baseball and hockey. At the age of 12, he started paving with his dad at Budget Paving and continued with different paving companies until his death. Danny had his ways, but had a heart of gold and was always helping people and be there for anyone in need.

 Danny was the type of person who always had to be doing something. He enjoyed his ATV rides, fishing, learning about outdoor birds and feeding them, growing all kinds of vegetables and flowers. He will always be remembered by his big smile and having a beer can in his hand.

 Danny is survived by his mom Peggy (Wells) Beaton, his son Sawyer, his partner Belinda Fisher, his aunt Janet (Ron) Grezaud, cousins Ashley and Brian (Erika) Grezaud, Joanna Nickerson (Bret Bower). Great cousins Blayke and Bronson.

 Danny was predeceased by his father Donald Joseph “Joe” Beaton, maternal grandparents Louise and Kit Wells and paternal grandparents Anne and Ambrose Beaton.

 Cremation has taken place with no service at this time. Donations may be made to the SPCA or to a charity of your choice. 

 A special thank you to Alan Lind for all your help and support at this difficult time knowing how hard this was for you as well. It was very much appreciated. You and Danny had a very tight bond for many years. A few tiffs now and again, but both of you were always there to help each other. Danny considered you as his second dad.
