Daniel R. Mansfield

Mansfield, Daniel Ross of Westfield, passed away suddenly at home on October 3, 2026 surrounded by family.

Born in Bridgewater NS, Danny grew up in Westfield and attended North Queens School. He went on to graduate from Kingstech Campus with his meat cutting certificate.

Danny was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and four wheeling. Danny spent much of his time working in the building and was a master of turning one man’s trash into another man’s treasure.

Friend to many, Danny was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a proud, long-standing member of the North Queens Fire Department.

Danny Is survived by his partner Sherri Daniels, Mother Iris, Sisters, Heather Ringling (Jan) and Rose Mansfield; Nieces, Laura, Lisa Mackenzy; Great Nephews, Isaac, Iker, Iden an Great Niece Emily who he loved dearly. Danny will be missed by many.

Danny was predeceased by his father, Arley Mansfild.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. from North Queens Fire Hall, Caledonia, NS. Reverend Carol Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Westfield.
