Daniel Richard Keating

Daniel Richard Keating, 71, of Milton, NS, passed away on October 11, 2026.

Born in Liverpool, Danny was a son of the late Leonard and Madora (Anthony) Keating.

Danny retired from Michelin, Bridgewater after 35 years of service and started his next venture with the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation in Liverpool until 2022.

Danny loved sports and spending time with his family; his wife Charlene, daughters Teah (Alex Wright), Dana Whynot (LeeAnn Daury), son Jamin (Briana Dagley). He especially loved being Grampy to his three grandchildren Aubrey Mae, Sadie Lynn and Charlie Douglas.

Danny is also survived by his sisters Yvonne (Charles) Greer, Margaret Corkum, Dorothy (Einar) Whynot, Anne Kent and brothers Ronald (Janet Grezaud), Archie (Euna) and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Danny was predeceased by his sisters Gertrude Kay, Susan Weare, Evelyn Patterson, Greta Everett and brothers John, Vincent and Michael.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. At Danny’s request, there will be no funeral service. Donations may be made to the IWK Health Centre. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.
