Wilfred Laurier Croft

Croft – Wilfred Laurier, 88, of Buckfield, Queens Co., passed away at home on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Born in Buckfield, Wilfred was a son of the late Alfred and Muriel (Tratt) Croft.
Wilfred enjoyed planting his vegetable garden every spring and spending time in his workshop working with wood and doing carpentry. He also enjoyed reading westerns, books about sawmills and forestry from the past.
Wilfred is survived by his sister Ruth Uhlman of Chelsea as well as his special nephew Dennis Croft of Buckfield and many other nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Wilfred was predeceased by his first wife Jean (Weagle), his second wife Emily (Gilmore)(Henley); his sisters Margaret, Ruby Lohnes, Muriel “Kitty” Jodrey and his brothers Murray, Douglas, Basil and Edmund.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chelsea Baptist Church. Pastor Cathy uhlman officiating. Burial will be in Pine Rest Cemetery, Greenfield. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Chelsea Baptist Church or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
