Clair Leadale Burns

Burns - Claire L., of Beach Meadows, Queens County, passed away suddenly at home.

Born in Beach Meadows, Clair was a son of the late Lester and Gladys (Manthorne) Burns.

Clair was a former storage operator for Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited retiring in 1991. He was a life member of Local 141 Papermakers Union, the Liverpool Golf and Country Club and the Liverpool Curling Club.

Clair is survived by his brother Fred Hurshman of Liverpool.

Besides his parents, Clair was predeceased by his wife Adeline (Sabean), his daughter Lisa, his sisters Elaine Burns and Mabel Shediac.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A graveside funeral service will take place in Christ Anglican Cemetery, Karsdale, NS at a later date. No flowers, donations to SHAID Animal Shelter. Online condolences may be made below.
