Carole Elaine Joyce Kravitz

d. August 13, 2025

Carole Elaine Joyce Kravitz (Nahogaloak/French) - beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt — affectionately known to many as “Bunny,” passed away unexpectedly and far too soon, leaving behind family and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by her love, laughter, and spirit.

She shared nearly 50 years of marriage with her devoted husband, David — a partnership filled with deep love, shared adventures, and steadfast commitment.

Known for her quirky sense of humor, unshakable sense of right and wrong, and sentimental heart, Carole encouraged strength in those around her and made everyone feel there was nothing they couldn’t do. She fought passionately against injustices and welcomed friends into her heart as if they were family. She was an excellent chef and baker, and also a skilled card player who relished a good game of Fan Tan or Bridge. Whether gathered around a table for a family meal, or deep in a card game, Carole brought warmth, joy, and a touch of fun to every occasion.

Carole’s passing leaves an immense void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of integrity, laughter, cherished traditions, and unwavering belief in the strength of others will continue to guide and inspire generations to come.

Carole was the proud mother of three children Ahron Kravitz (Jennifer), Gila Somers (Murray), and Sarah Rogers (Jason) and was absolutely crazy in love with her eight grandchildren: Cassidy, Elijah, Abigail, Samuel, Daphne, Madeleine, Dominick, and Reed. She is also survived by her cherished father, Dominick French; her siblings Barry French (Annastasia), Katherine Goring (Colin), and Chuck Nahogaloak (Rosie); and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.

She was predeceased by her loving mother, Alice French, and her brothers, Danny Nahogaloak, Jerry Nahogaloak, Glen Nahogaloak, and Kevin French.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to the Queens General Hospital Foundation.
