Carl Walter Levy

d. September 26, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl Walter Levy, of Mersey Point, on September 26, 2025, at the age of 73, with family by his side.

Born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, Carl was the youngest son of the late Harvey and Emma (Mason) Levy.

Carl dedicated 30 years to Michelin Tire in Bridgewater, earning respect for his hard work, skill, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, Carl was happiest in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, or lobstering with his brother Gordie. In his younger years, he loved three-wheeling with friends and family, always embracing adventure. He also enjoyed cruising in his Trans Am and spending time on the water in his beloved boat, Happy Hunter. Whether fishing or simply exploring, those moments on the water created cherished memories with his family.

Carl will be remembered for his warm heart, love of life, and the happiness he shared with others. His laughter, spirit, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Carl’s greatest joy was his family. Carl will be deeply missed and forever loved.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Levy; his daughters, Carla (Justin) Kennickell of Coldbrook and Jill Levy-Peverelle (Stephen) of Hubbards; and his cherished grandchildren, Aidan Kennickell, Dawson and Emberlee Peverelle, who were the light of his life. Carl took immense pride in every moment spent with them, especially cheering them on in their many sports. His family meant everything to him.

Carl is also survived by his sisters Judith Roy, Janet (Maynard) Mansfield, and Barbara (David) Oickle all of Mersey Point. His brothers George (Doris) Levy of Mersey Point, Warren (Sharon) Levy of Brampton, Ontario and Norman (Faye) Levy of Brooklyn.

Besides his parents, Carl was predeceased by his beloved brother, Gordon Levy of Mersey Point.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers Funeral Home, Liverpool. In accordance with Carl’s wishes, there will be no public service. He will be laid to rest in a private family burial at the Milton Community Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Carl’s memory. Online condolences are gratefully accepted below.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff of 3B at the Victoria General Hospital, to Dr. Brown (ENT) for his exceptional care, and to Dr. Malpesh Hathi for his guidance and support.
