Janet Geraldine Broome

BROOME – Janet G., 69, of Brooklyn, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, NS on Friday, April 21, 2023.
Born in Liverpool, Janet was a daughter of the late Fred and Verna (Oickle) Lannan.
Janet was a former fish packer for Bluewave Fisheries and Mersey Seafoods. She enjoyed her time on her computer as well as spending time with her family.
Janet is survived by her husband Robert; her daughters Shelley (Kevin) Weagle of Brooklyn, Amanda Broome (Brian Lively) of Halifax and Jennifer Broome (Stuart Selig) of Brooklyn. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Her sister Rose Anthony of Milton and her brother Cecil (Vicky Conrad) of Gull Island.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.
