Brenda Lee Gayle Munroe

It is with great sadness that the family of Brenda Lee Gayle Munroe, age 62, announce her sudden passing at home on August 15, 2026.

Born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia Brenda was the daughter of the late Vernon Munroe and Beverly (Freeman) Conrad, and the stepdaughter of Leonard Conrad.

Brenda worked at Scotiabank for over ten years, where she was known for her friendly smile, caring nature, and warm personality. She enjoyed many things in life, especially swimming, travelling, and spending time with family and friends. Brenda adored her beloved dog, Princess, who predeceased her, and she treasured the time she spent with her many nieces and nephews, who brought her immense joy.

Brenda is survived by her siblings: Ricky (Becky) of Liverpool, Cheryl (Steve) of Brooklyn, Ronnie (Lisa) of Milton, Lori (Dave) Drew of Liverpool, and Julie (Byron) of Liverpool, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Besides her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her brothers, Brian Munroe and Glen Munroe, and her sister, Vicki (Freeman) Lewis.

Brenda made her home with her nephew Andrew (Jessica) and her great-niece Gabriella, both of whom held a special place in her heart.

Brenda had a welcoming spirit and a generous heart. She treated everyone she met as family and made friends wherever she went. One of her greatest joys was travelling, especially the memorable vacations she enjoyed at Disney & in the Dominican Republic, a place she dearly loved.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. In keeping with Brenda's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Liverpool Fire Hall on September 19, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Donations in Brenda's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Brenda will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and caring heart will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and friends.
