Audrey B. Rafuse

Audrey B. Rafuse, age 94, residing at Roseway Manor, Shelburne N. S., formerly of Danesville and Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 3rd., 2026, at Roseway Hospital, Shelburne.

Born in Danesville, Audrey was a daughter of the late Charles and Doris (Schrader) Whynot.

Time spent with family was her absolute favorite gift, and capturing shared moments in photographs preserved those memories. Her favorite pastimes were word search puzzles, knitting and jigsaw puzzles. In her earlier years Mom was happy when the music was playing, especially if it meant sharing a dance with friends.

Audrey is survived by her beloved children, Delores (David), Wayne (Heather) and Loretta (Kenny). Her grandchildren Angela (Travis), Susan (Jason), Lisa (Brad), Vanessa (Timothy), Justine (James), Katelyn (Mark), Sam, and great grandchildren Leyton, Hanley, Jack, Darius, Bryson, Kaleb, Averi, and Lainey She is also survived by her sister Deanna (Harold) Hatt and her son in law Timothy Dominix.

Besides her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her husband Murray, and her daughter Holly Dominix, as well as brothers Chester and Edward.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. from Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reception to follow in the funeral home. A private family burial will take place later. To share memories or condolences, please visit www.chandlers funeral.com.
