Allan John Wentworth

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Allan J. Wentworth of Liverpool, NS on September 25, 2025.

Allan was the son of the late Gordon Wentworth and Marjorie (Ruddock) (Wentworth) Jacobs and his step father Charlie Jacobs.

Allan was raised in St. Andrews, New Brunswick and moved to Nova Scotia after high school to pursue teaching. He moved to Liverpool where he began his thirty year teaching career, and raised his family. Allan was a devoted husband and father, and family was the center of his world.

Allan leaves to mourn his wife, Shari, and children, Colin, Louise (Robert), and Mark (Cassandra). As well as, step-mother, Nancy Wentworth and brothers Brian, Darrell, and Sheridan (Judy).

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS where visitation and funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 beginning at 12:00 p.m. and service at 1:00 p.m. in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made below.
