Novak – Elizabeth “Liz”, 88, former resident at Shoreham Village, Chester, NS, passed away on September 9, 2021, at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, NS.
Born in Sopron, Hungary, Liz and her immediate family moved to Canada in 1956. Liz was at her happiest and took great pride when cooking and baking for her family and friends. She enjoyed travelling and cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Liz is survived by her sons, Steve (Nancy) Novak and Leslie Novak. Her son in law Dennis White, her grandchildren Michelle (Eugene) Griffin, Kelly (John) Nickerson, Jackie (Ernest) Calhoun, Christopher (Jennifer) Novak, Kyle Novak, Lindsay Novak, David Novak and Heather Novak. Her great grandchildren Brooklyn Oickle, Jayse Nickerson, Jonathan Nickerson, Jacob Urzada and Tiago Novak and her great grandchildren, Joshua Novak and Anthony Novak.
Besides her parents, Liz was predeceased by her husband Steve Novak, her daughter Liz White and her grandson Dustin Novak.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. There will be no funeral service at Liz’s request. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.
