
NAUSS – Olga B, 94, of Mill Village, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool on Tuesday, December 10, 2013.
Born in Cherry Hill, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Captain Erlin J. Bowers.
Olga worked in various hotels and resorts as a waitress for many years as well as doing private catering. She was a member and Past Noble Grand of Pinehurst Rebekah Lodge, #95, Liverpool.
She is survived by her step-daughters Shirley Nowe of Bridgewater, Corinne Bichard of Ontario, brother Robert of Halifax.
She was predeceased by her husband Russell and sister Doreen “Elsie”.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. followed by funeral service at 2:30 both in Chandlers’ Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Reverend Peter Anthony officiating. Burial will be in Mill Village Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pinehurst Rebekah Lodge #95, Liverpool or to any charity.
