Marilyn E. Munroe – 78, Greenfield, NS passed away on November 3, 2017. Born in Bridgewater, she was the youngest daughter of the late Harley and Alice (Wentzell) Freeman. Survived by son Mike (Jeannette), Palmerston, Ont. and daughter Patti (friend, David Logan), Portuguese Cove, NS, grandchildren Josh (Corinne) Munroe, Palmerston, Ont. and Kelly Munroe (friend, Justin Fast), Kitchener, Waterloo, Ont., sister Shirley (Doug) Adams, Greenfield, NS, nieces and nephews, her cat, Rosy and former son-in-law John Deveau. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister Freda Theakson and brother Melvin Freeman. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. There will be no visitation or service by request of Marilyn, private burial. Donations can made in memory of Marilyn to SHAID or Greenfield Firefighters. A very special and heartfelt thank you is extended to all of mom’s family and friends in Greenfield, staff at the Queen’s General Hospital and Dr. Sarah Cosh, for their care and support during mom’s illness.

Patti and family, I was so sorry to hear of Marilyn’s passing, She was a great lady and my good friend, We enjoyed many Happy Hours on the deck at the lake, solving all the worlds problems, with your mom, if you ask a question you were sure to get an answer straight from the hip and not always the one you would expect. I will miss those visits and my thoughts are with you all.
