Dear Joe,
I don’t think we had a chance to meet but I was the ZEE Medical training manager when Leslie worked there. She was so very interesting to talk to and a great student always looking to learn more!
I was able to get her to tell me stories of the many rock and roll concerts that she had been to over the years, and many of them were such historical concerts and bands.
I will miss her infectious laugh and smile. I sent my condolences to you and the rest of your family on the loss of our dear Lesley.
Sincerely
Henry

Dearest Joe,
Deeply saddened to hear of LL’s passing. I have wonderful memories of Lesley all the way back to 1991 when we first met at Checkpoint Communications. She was an amazing woman and a great friend. Les was the backbone of the MacLean Hunter sales team and took that energy with her to Rogers and Zee.
Wishing you strength during this sad time and may you find solace in her wonderful memories. MHDSRIP
Fondest love to you Joe.

To my dearest friend of 49 years – I was shattered to hear the new of the passing of Lesley. Lesley and I were instant life long friends from the moment we met at Eaton’s at 16. I will forever cherish the incredible life experiences we shared over the decades from Baseball games, Blue Mountain, vacations concerts, parties and Brandy’s. We were the Lavern & Shirley of Toronto. We did it all and had the best times ever. No matter what, we always laughed. I shared the best times of my life with Les.
I will miss her forever and will think about her every time I listen to Earth Wind & Fire or Kool & the Gang. We will be together one day again!!!
I send my love and deepest condolences to Joe and Rosemary. Let’s stay strong for her!

Dearest Joe,
I learned of Lesley’s passing this morning. Such sad news. Double L was a great co-worker and friend who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
I met Lesley in 1990 when I was hired as the receptionist for Checkpiint Communications. Which then became Maclean Hunter, then Cantel, then Rogers. What a journey. And Lesley was the constant who kept us all laughing as we embraced all the changes.
My deepest condolences during this difficult time.

When I think back to the good times, like having a laugh at a sales meeting or sharing a warm Danish on inventory day, I will always have wonderful memories of Lesley.
There will always be a smile on my face when I remember the “carrot Lady” and her love for the 4 legged friends in our lives.

Dear Joe,
Lesley was such a lovely person and a wonderful friend to so many. We loved being near neighbours on Amroth and then our visits with you both after we all moved away. Lesley’s kindness, warmth, sense of humour, great laugh, and sense of fun will be truly missed. Your generosity to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society (Collingwood, Ont.) was so appreciated and we will make a donation in her name. I really miss her and our visits and phone calls. Our thoughts are with you and Jeter and may you only have the good times to remember as we will.
