
Moreau – Carmon Edward, 78, of Charleston, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool on Thursday, September 12, 2019.
Born in Liverpool, Queens County, Carmon was a son of the late Edwin and Edna (Dauphinee) Moreau.
Carmon was employed at the local fish plants in Port Mouton and Liverpool for many years. In his younger years, Carmon ventured to Alberta, where he was employed at a steel plant from 1974 to 1978. He enjoyed playing bingo and fishing. Carmon had a great sense of humor and a warm loving heart.
Carmon is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Vaughn); son, Michael (Sally) Moreau, of Italy Cross; grandsons, Tyler, Matthew and Cody; sister, Eva Knickle, of Bridgewater; brother, Arthur Moreau, of Bridgewater.
He was predeceased by sisters, Lillian, Alma and Leatrice.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A celebration of Carmon’s life will be held Monday, September 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. Burial will follow in the New Charleston Cemetery, Charleston.
