Moore – Jacqueline Marie “Cookie”, 57, of Caledonia, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15th, 2023 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
Born in Liverpool, Cookie was a daughter of the late Francis and Judith (Hallett) Flemming.
Cookie worked in homecare for many years as a PCW. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she greatly loved her grandchildren who were the apple of her eye. She was always the life of the party. Cookie loved music, singing, dancing, joking and she would light up the room when she walked in. Cookie also enjoyed playing bingo and reading a good book. She left us far too soon, but she will never be forgotten. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
Cookie is survived by her loving husband, Alan; daughter, Amy (Stephen) Rasley of Bridgewater; son, Cody (Kathleen) of Mulgrave; adopted son, Michael Foley of Liverpool; grandchildren, Harvey, Joseph, Ann, Ethan and Joshua; sisters, Mona Flemming (Alan Zong) of Caledonia and Rhonda (Nelson) Whynot of Liverpool.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A celebration of Cookie’s life will be held at a later date from Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. No flowers by request, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com
