Sincere condolences to all of you. My heart aches for your loss. It was a privilege to be a caregiver for Beulah. Many stories told and many laughs. She certainly loved animals and especially dogs, always had treats on hand for when they came to visit. Regardless of what kind of day she was having, she was so happy to see them! Take care. ❤️

This evening I was shocked to hear of Beulah’s passing from my sister. As teenagers we were friends in Cape Breton and over the years we exchanged Christmas cards. I moved to Ottawa when I married fifty years ago. In spite of many summer holidays in CB we never had an opportunity to meet again. From the many kind messages I read it appears she was still the lovely person that I remember. Sincere sympathy to Beulah’s children and grandchildren.
    She will be long remembered.

What a beautiful service and video in honor of a beautiful woman.
I am very sorry for the loss of your mom, grandmother, family member, friend….such a gentle person who is now rejoicing in Heaven.
Although its hard for those of us left behind, I know her faith was strong and she has joined many that went on before her in Heaven, including my own mom, one of her best friends. It was quite poignant to see some of the pictures of them together….they had such a special friendship and loved their times together. I even noticed a picture of her and Brandon in Cuba…that was such a lovely time we shared.
For us left behind, there is a hole that is left in our hearts…a void, a sadness that we all walk through differently and no one can tell us how to grieve and for how long. My prayer for all of you is that you continue to share the many precious memories, laugh together, cry together and continue to work together as you put things in order. No one can ever take our memories away..
Your mom, grandmother was so proud of you all and there was nothing she loved more than being with her family…it brought a special smile to her heart.
May the Lord provide to each of you what you need to walk through this journey and may He comfort your hearts during this difficult time.
    With love and sincere condolences,
    Rhonda

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. Your parents were great neighbors and wonderful friends. My parents often comment on your kindness to our family. I still remember the time your dad paid the hockey fees for my brothers and I. Your mother was such a kind and sweet person. Every time I made it back to Nova Scotia, she made a point to come over and visit. She will be greatly missed. It won’t be the same without her.

    God bless,

Obituary Guidelines

First, locate the condolence form to the left and below any other condolences. Then you will need to fill out some basic information prior to typing your message. (We will not share your e-mail address with anyone). Once you are finished typing your message, simply click the submit condolence button. It may take up to 24 hours for your message to appear. We also provide a Tell-A-Friend feature located at the top of this column. This form allows you to send the obituary to a friend. This is particularly helpful to someone who may live out of town.
