It’s hard to imagine that I spoke with Catherine so very recently. She had that same bright eyed appearance and obvious joix de vivre we all fondly recall.
Catherine and Ralph were a big part of our lives and Dad (Earl Chute) enjoyed speaking/phoning her often. Reminisces, family updates, good times.
Rest in Peace. Life is best remembered by celebrating the memories. It’s what matters most.
Sincere condolences to family and friends alike.

I just read the obituary of your Mom on Chandler’s web site. I was totally shocked as we use to talk once in awhile since Juna’s passing. I know she missed talking with Juna but now they are reunited along with their husbands. I enjoyed our talks and reminising so much. I will certainly miss her. I extend deepest sympathy to all of you and pray God’s blessing upon you all as you mourn her loss.
Myrna
Your mother was a lovely lady – always friendly, smiling, and kind. She added a sparkle to my fitness classes and showed up no matter what the weather, eager to have some fun! I knew your folks years ago and noted the depth of their love for one another. My parents, Ernest and Doreen Pierce, knew your dad through Carman Pierce at Rossignol Sales. I am very sorry you’ve lost your beautiful mom.
To Ralph and Catherine’s family – I was saddened to hear about Catherine’s passing. I knew Catherine along with her husband Ralph for many, many years. Both had a great sense of humour and were heavily involved in the community of Liverpool and Queen’s County. Catherine was always a joy to meet and spend time with at their home on Main Street. She will be missed by all those who knew her.
Dear Donna & Liz,
So sorry to hear of your mother’s death. She and my Grandmother Doris were first cousins, and we all talked family news and other news whenever we would meet or visit your Mum. She knew all the people in Maitland Bridge, as it was her birthplace and first home. She had a great way about her, very likeable.
She will be missed by all of us.
When we first moved to Liverpool from North Queens, Catherine was one of the first to welcome us. She was a good friend, always kind, and we will miss her. We end our sympathy and best wishes to her family.

I was so sorry to hear of Catherine’s passing. I mainly knew her from Zion United Church. She rarely missed a service and was there the other Sunday, that will be one of our last services. I also often met her when I was out walking and we would stop for a chat. I think she always took longer walks than I did even though 20 years older than I am! I admired her determination to keep active and how she pushed on through setbacks that made walking a challenge. Often in past summers we met her picking blackberries in the same area that we liked to go and we shared the same delight in making blackberry jelly. I will particularly think of her whenever the blackberries are ripe and it’s jelly making time. My thoughts are with her family now as you mourn her passing. Marjorie

Dear Donna & Liz & Families,
Francis & I Were Very Saddened To Hear Of Your Mom’s Passing. Your Mom Will Be Greatly Missed In The Neighbourhood, She Was Always Outside Tickering At Her Flowers And Her Yard. She Always Made Sure That Everything Was So Neat And In It’s Proper Place. Even Though She Was So Busy Keeping Her Property So Immaculate She Always Had Time To Come Across The Street To Have A Neighbourly Chat. We Will Miss Her Dearly. She Spoke Of Her Two Daughters With Great Love And Admiration, She Worshipped All The Grandchildren And Took Pride In Mentioning Them To Us. Cherish All Your Memories Of Your Beautiful Mom And Keep Them Close To Your Heart, These Are The Memories That Will Get You Through Some Very Difficult Times Ahead. Dear Donna and Liz – we are so sorry to hear of the passing of our good friend, Catherine. In years gone by we enjoyed many meals together. Probably our fondest and funniest memories of Catherine and Ralph were our Saturday nights together where we would have dinner together and then go for Line Dancing lessons which Ralph didn’t enjoy. He would stand at the back where no one could see that he was not paying any attention at all but at the end he would say “Well, that was fun”. We loved them both. Butch and Loretta

Sorry to read of Catherine’ passing we send our condolences to her family.
Catherine was one of the prettiest older women I have ever seen. She was always lovely, even as a young woman, but she particularly shone with beauty when she got older. I saw her at church in the summertime when I was in Nova Scotia and am very sad to think that I won’t see her again.
She and Ralph had some pretty good parties when Bill and I lived in Liverpool. We laughed a lot, and that is one of the best parts of being friends.
You, her family, were so important to her. She loved you and was proud of all your accomplishments.
I send you affection and sympathy,
Molly
