
MCMAHON (Cox), Sandra D., age 78, of Liverpool, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Cox. Sandra was a registered nurse, receiving her training at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Toronto. She moved to Halifax to attend Saint Mary’s University, where she met her husband, Raymond. She continued her nursing career at the Victoria General Hospital, at Queens General Hospital and with the Victorian Order of Nurses.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Raymond, her children, Michael (Patricia) and Erika (Shawn), and grandchildren Emma, Isaak and Charlotte.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, Nova Scotia. As per Sandra’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private burial service will take place at St. Gregory’s Catholic Cemetery, Liverpool, NS. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A special thank you to Dr. Jennifer MacDonald for the exemplary care and service given to Sandra.
