MAY – Patricia Ann “Trisha”, 41, of Halifax, formerly of Port Mouton, Queens County, passed away suddenly in QEII Health Science Centre, Halifax, NS on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
Born in Bridgewater, Trisha was a daughter of Herman May and step daughter to Olia Jacob May of Port Mouton.
Trisha is survived by her children Caley, Tara, Dennis, Colten and Shawn. Grandchildren Brayden, Dakota and Oliver. Sisters: Erin May of Bridgewater and Maggie May of Leduc, AB. Brothers Michael and Patrick, both of Brooks, AB. Step brothers Jayson (Julie) Jacob of Portage River, NB and Serge (Shannon) Jacob of Saskatoon, SK.
She was predeceased by her son Bradley Patrick. Grandparents George Patrick and Vivian May.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Peaceful Hill Cemetery, Port Mouton. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. It is an incredible loss to lose a child.
My heart goes out to you Herman, and to Trisha’s children, and to Erin Patrick and Maggie. I knew Trisha very well as a young child and teen.
She was a lovely girl, always polite and very pleasant. I recall her coming by to see me frequently, and always asked if we needed any help in any way. I liked her very much. I am so very saddened to hear of her passing.
